| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Nov 18, 2008 16.9 oz bottle from Binny’s Beverage Depot in Orland park,IL. It poured a deep golden body and the head vanished before I could reflect for long on its appearance. No lacing. The aroma was sweet and grainy with a touch of creamed corn and a quiet floral hopping. Somewhat oily palate. It tasted of sweet grain, old sugar, alcohol, and Cook County, IL, well water. The finish was sweet and had a whallop of alcohol. Drinkable, but not Rinkuškiai’s best. JPDIPSO (4939), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 9, 2009 Since the last one tasted strong, I thought I might as well have one that is. LIght golden color with a tight bubbled off-white head and a heavy sheet of lace. An interesting scent of limburger cheese, grain, white grapes and hints of higher alcohols. As it sets an odd spice component works its way in with allspice and cinnamon. After the first sip applesauce come to mind. A lightly spice apple sauce flavor along with a bit of honey. Alcohol seems to bring out the sweetness throughout, but never shows itself completely. A dessert type of brew. Thicken this a bit and it would be great over baked apples and ice cream. I’m not finding this as industrial as many a brews in this genra. I’m mildly impressed. I really do not feel like I must dump this one. Tmoney99 (4795), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Poured clear amber color with an average frothy white head that was lasting and produced good lacing. Moderate hop and malty aroma. Medium body with a smooth sticky texture and lively carbonation. Moderate grainy sweet flavor with with a moderate sweet finish of moderate duration.
Average cold wet alcohol brew. Ernest (4515), Boulder, Colorado, USA

Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is clear dark yellow.
Aroma is moderately malty (toasted grain, husks), lightly hoppy (flowers), with notes of soap, metal, alcohol, hints of honey and apple.
Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter, husky, slightly unclean.
Medium to full body, watery texture, lively carbonation, lightly to moderately alcoholic.
Typical for the style...grainy, industrial, soapy. Could be worse, though. Probably the same as one of the other 9.5% beers from this brewery, or may as well be. bhensonb (4380), Woodland, California, USA

Medium plus body with sharp, bubbly carbonation. Flavor is strong pale malt with a little grassy bitter. It’s decent. Nothing like a crappy malt liquor. Definitely drinkable.
