| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 12, 2006 From a bottle. This poured with a bright gold body and a white head. The aroma was carrots and green beans with some old socks. The taste was nasty soybeans with some grassy metallic notes in the finish. A pretty boring beer. sayravai (3773), Helsinki, Finland
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jul 17, 2006 (Bottled) Clear, pale golden color with a medium, foamy and lacy head. Aroma of blood and metal. with buttery-grassy hints. Quite metallic, somewhat grassy-hoppy flavor with some corny maltiness and hints of butter and toffee. Light to medium-bodied, very metallic palate with fizzy carbonation. The metallic flavor was completely overwhelming - it was hard to even finish the bottle. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jan 7, 2006 Updated: Apr 21, 2008Note: Had as "Rinkuškiai Port Premium" Killearn Liquors, Tallahassee, Fl. - 16.9 fl. oz bottle. Light golden pour with a thin, bubble white head. No apparent aroma except for a trace of metal. Flavor is bland, typical dusty, industrial lager-like flavor with a hint of honey sweetness to soften it up a bit. Thick enough mouthfeel for the type. Wets your whistle - that’s about all. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | May 9, 2006 Pours very light and golden, kind of tastes like a canned beer in a bottle. Kind of tastes old and musty, with some honey maltiness, and just a bit of tinny aftertastes. Not a favorite. Suttree (2743), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Sep 4, 2007 Is this what I gave the other Lithuaninan beers I’ve been drinking? Cause it’s pretty much the same as the others. Yellow, grainy, grassy, blah blah blah. Pretty much cut and paste for all of ’em. Aurelius (2654), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jan 6, 2006 Updated: Jan 7, 2006Weak, stale aroma. Very pale, decent white head that faded quickly. Stout bottle. This was labelled as "Uosto Pale", but Uosto means Port in Lithuanian, I think. The 5% ABV value matched, as did my impressions with the other two ratings. Pastey malt, lightly hoppy. A lingering cereal and cheap metal hop finish. Medium light body. Let’s see if the Uosto with higher ABV has any redeeming qualities next... tronraner (1938), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Aug 29, 2007 Bottle (as Uosto Pale). Pours light gold with small white head. The aroma is weak and grassy with some slight corn and sweet bread behind it. The flavor has a satisfying hop tinge at the beginning-- the slight grassy bitterness at least adds another dimension to something pretty simple. Otherwise it’s mild honeyish malt with a somewhat sweet finish, but grassy hops linger in the aftertaste. Not outstanding, but definitely not bad for what it is.
