Now yes it is a lager, but it’s a fine specimen. It’s a bit corn and bread in the nose. It’s yellow in color. It’s a bit doughy and hop, maybe some honey as well. It’s smooth feeling. I enjoyed this where others, apparently did not. Maybe worth another try for those who didn’t enjoy it. They might of had a skunked batch perhaps. BigBeer45 (704), Troy, Michigan, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 27, 2007 500ml Bottle: clear pale gold pour, effervescent with a thin white head, malt and sweet fragrances, faint pilsner on the nose, some hop grass, same taste as aromas with a grain flavor, small hop bite but this beer has that taste and mouth sense that I get in many European beers, don’t know if it is a hop additive maybe it is a metal taste, this beer had just a bit of it, not enough to really put me off like some beers. Cause it’s pretty much the same as the others. Yellow, grainy, grassy, blah blah blah. Pretty much cut and paste for all of ’em. heemer77 (4311), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 12, 2006 From a bottle. This poured with a bright gold body and a white head. The aroma was carrots and green beans with some old socks. The taste was nasty soybeans with some grassy metallic notes in the finish. A pretty boring beer. tronraner (1933), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Aug 29, 2007 Bottle (as Uosto Pale). Pours light gold with small white head. The aroma is weak and grassy with some slight corn and sweet bread behind it. The flavor has a satisfying hop tinge at the beginning-- the slight grassy bitterness at least adds another dimension to something pretty simple. Otherwise it’s mild honeyish malt with a somewhat sweet finish, but grassy hops linger in the aftertaste. Not outstanding, but definitely not bad for what it is. Light golden pour with a thin, bubble white head. No apparent aroma except for a trace of metal. Flavor is bland, typical dusty, industrial lager-like flavor with a hint of honey sweetness to soften it up a bit. Thick enough mouthfeel for the type. Wets your whistle - that’s about all. omhper (12247), Stockholm, Sweden
