Bottled: Sourly aroma with notes of vomit. Dark golden colot. Taste is quite o.k., light malty with grain notes. Bad sourly end. Dry finish. Undrinkable.

Deep golden beer with a thin white lace that fades quickly. Sweet pale malt, soft herbal notes along with a touch of grass and hay. Flavour is quite balanced really. Quite clean with loads of sweet pale malt, lightly honeyish. It’s sweet but doesn’t get cloying like the Sam Adams I had the other night. Warming intensifies a nice bready malt note. Some mint and thyme. Better than it had any business being.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of frothy medium sized bubbles that were and left behind a transparent softly carbonated orange colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was malty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of typical Russion lagers with malt and mild hops.

Pours deep golden, mostly dead with a pouty white head that refuses to settle. Alcohol is fore to the aroma while a dusty grain silo of pale malts forms a simple base. Few herbal hops show late. A bit sickly sweet in flavor with a twin-sized blanket of spoiled fruitiness trying to desperately spread out over a queen-sized mattress of alcoholic esters. Overripe bananas soaked in vodka is my final answer.

Pours a hazy golden orange with a smallish white head that dissapeared quickly. Aroma of corn, grain, alcohol, and some fruitiness. Slightly sweet, light tartness at the end.

bottle - Pours up fizzy and clear yellow with a thin head. It smells of malt and corn. It tastes of malt and adjuncts. This one is rating a little higher than I expected here. It’s really not good. Sometimes I wonder why we bother to import some beers.

Bottled. Poured a clear, brighter golden with notta whole lot going on head-wise. Aroma was of rum-laced corn syrup, un-cooked grains, and perhaps some herbs. Flavor found syrupy corn, some grains, and lemon and mild lemon and herb accents... you can tell that the booze factor is high, but it’s fairly well-integrated... sticky-sweet, warm finish. This grew on me as it went down.

From a 500 ml. bottle with a short blurb and unnotched freshness date on the back label. Poured a semi-hazy orangey golden with a fluffy, foamy white head that settled in a thin lacing. Aromas of lemon and melon fruitiness along with sweet bready malts, a light floral spiciness and big whiffs of solvent-like alcohol. Good even carbonation and a crisp, yes, alcohol laced syrupy, smooth full bodied mouthfeel. Tastes of grainy, sweet bready malts, a touch of that pale malt sugariness, lemons with a subtle banana fruitiness, spicy hops that meshes with the alcohol, the alcohol warms the back of the palate, and a dryish grainy, spicy alcohol finish. I can’t decide if this is just an average Euro pale strong lager or a slightly above average one, but then maybe it doesn’t matter, the most positive thing I can say about it is that it’s better than a 40 for some strong lager alcohol.
