Sampled draught at Šnekutis beer bar, Pasvalys.
Golden colour, clear, no head. Sweet honeyish and rounded with some herbal notes. Fairly bitter finish.

Copper colour. Aroma is toasty, caramelly. Sweet flavour is slightly syrupy with a hint of caramel. Sweet, lightly toasty finish.

Pours copper with a white head. Smells of sugar and corn. Tastes like corn syrup with some carbonation added.

Deep golden beer with a thin white lace that fades quickly. Sweet pale malt, soft herbal notes along with a touch of grass and hay. Flavour is quite balanced really. Quite clean with loads of sweet pale malt, lightly honeyish. It’s sweet but doesn’t get cloying like the Sam Adams I had the other night. Warming intensifies a nice bready malt note. Some mint and thyme. Better than it had any business being.

Light, clear orange body with a bubbling white head that transmutes into a halo almost instantly. It smells like a sweet Märzen, but just a little bit dusty, a little bit metallic. Rich bodied with sweet caramel malts, a hint of toffee, and a splash of mineral water. Finishes on a sweet, metallic note with trace elements of earthy hops. A repeater.

Light golden color with a moderate, fairly dense, light cream colored head. A very pleasant aroma, very much a fresh beer scent, not the big heavy scent, but the scent near a kegging line at a larger brewery. LIght sweet malt, hint of herbal hops and yes, even a touch of keg wash. A straight shootin’ brew. Light caramel and pale malt taken back by a rather sharp spicy finish which helps this one from getting to thick and syrupy. Not sure what makes this a traditional ale, I’ll need to do some research, but it is a respectable european strong/malt liquor. The spice seems to have had hit bottom and my stomach is warming significantly. An interesting quaff.

Bottle: Misty gold, no head nor lacing. Nose of corn, grass and hop. Bright alcohol and sweet malts. The flavor is balanced but has that same cheap malt liquor finish, sweet corn, alcohol and just harsh and sloppy.

Bottle from Belmont Party. Poured a clear golden color with an average frothy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Moderate graasy hop aroma. Medium body. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Drinkable brew.
