Ethereal (1500), London, Greater London, England Jan 12, 2009 Bottle at my 1000 Rates Celebratory tasting, 8th Jan 09, courtesy of tashi (Dave). Time for the Eastern European horrors part of the evening... Very pale yellow, with weak flavours and palate. Yellowed water with a salty peanut aroma. Mmm, if they go a bit further in this direction they’ll be sued for copying Bud Light. MesandSim (5790), London, Greater London, England Jan 8, 2009 A Mes rate. Another one I have to thank Dave for, although I’m not sure if thanks is the right word. Pale yellow with a thin white head. Smells of salted peanut sick. Really, I’m struggling to sniff at it. Tastes if harsh corn with metal for afters. Really not good. Ok, I have had worse, but not many... Geiserich (1775), Vienna, Austria Nov 28, 2005 Bottled:
Burning aroma, grainy, light sweetness. Pale golden color. Grainy flavor, light swwetness but light bodied. Bitter mettalic and dry finish. Donatas (188), Vilnius, Lithuania May 11, 2005 Fine colour, nice aroma. Nice balance of hops. Fine beer, but not too good. Oakes (8057), gone rambling, Vietnam Jul 23, 2004 Golden colour, lightly sparkling. Deep noble hops in the nose. Bready malts on the palate with underlying farm-like hops. Pils light, all right. omhper (12155), Stockholm, Sweden Jul 21, 2004 Sampled draught at Biržai Beer Festival.
Pale golden, clear. Hoppy nose. Fairly dry and lightly fruity. Medium bodied with medium bitterness. Pretty good, but not too special.
