Brassy color with an initially thick head that fizzes away fairly rapidly. Grainy, grassy nose. Grainy taste with hints of corn, grass, and a slightly metallic note. The metallic note lingers into the finish in which some hop notes are also subtly apparent. Palate is fizzy, suggesting forced carbonation. Not a terrible lager, actually, but not outstanding either.

Bottle my wife bought for me at a local Russian store, pours a very clear pale gold with a white head that thins pretty quickly to a ring, light aroma of malt and malt sweetness, faint grain and grass fragrances, flavor of light malt with a light hop bitterness (decent though for a premium lager), also, this has that off taste I get in some European lagers, the off flavor is not as pronounced as what I have tasted in other samples but is still there, has some syrup sugar flavor in the background, has a mouth feel that is typical for a premium lager.

Clear golden with frothy head. Watery corn, light malty nose. Quiet fruit and a watery, slight hint of spice. Quecnching body.

Bottle from John’s Market in Portland, OR. Pale gold color with a frothy white head. Clean, light noble hop aroma. Medium body with near creamy carbonation. Flavor is sweet pale malt, sadly lacking in bitter. Finish is pretty much the same. Despite the lack of bitter, it is definitely drinkable.

Bottled. Classic dark gold body with a large lightly off white head. The aroma has some bread and potatoes. There is also some noticeable hay. The taste has some light bologna and raw celery leaves. This finishes a little harsh and slightly metallic. Drinkable, but strange.

Pours a three finger white head that fades quickly leaving no lace. Crystal clear amber color. Malty/grassy nose. Light carbonation and light-medium bodied. Flavor is more malt than hops, sweet, clean but boring lager. $4.00 for a 500ml bottle from Tully’s Beer & Wine Wells, Me.

Bottle sampled with shigadeyo. Poured clear amber color with an average frothy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Moderate grass hop and grain aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Light to medium sweet flavor with a light sweet finish of short duration.

Golden colour. Soft beads of carbonation. Slightly appley nose with light straw. Watery and slightly appley character with a hint of graininess. Clean, dull, pale lager.
