Clear amber with rapidly disappearing white head. Aroma of alcohol and some spice. Very malty flavor, not well balanced. Mediocre.

Stout beer must mean more of.... well, who knows. This pours well enough, yellopw with a thin head. Aroma is an overly fruits cereal with grape juice notes. Flavor is thin and too sweet. Yeah, I should have spend the $3.00 on a 40oz of Baltika.

Not quite as pretty and a little thiner on the palate, but otherwise pretty much the same beer as their Zhiguly Grande. These are some really malty brews.

Dark yellow orange, a finger of creamy white, whipped foam. Simple aroma, spicy malts, alcohol. Taste is sweet, some apples, graininess and lots of alcohol.

The bottle poured slightly hazy orange with fluffy off-white head, fairly sustained. It smells boozy and spicy, kind of like mead? Tastes a little like cough syrup with a similar palate. Syrupy with no identifiable flavors. I think it was $1.98, but I still can’t say if it was worth it.

Amber body with a small, large bubbled, white head. Aroma of golden delicious apples and booze. Sickly sweet and boozy texture overwhelms the fruity notes that try to come through. Drainpour!

Bottle from T’s in Tempe, AZ. Label said 9%. Light amber color with a frothy beige head. Sweet caramel aroma. Medium body with frothy carbonation. The flavor is roasted caramel - suggestive of cola. There’s heat. The finish approaches astringent. Interesting, but not my choice in any situations I can envision.

Clear amber pour with soap scummy white head. Wheaty and sweet, lavender perfume. Very unusual mix of flavors. I perceive the alcohol as a flavor rather than a ’hotness’, though, there is some warming effect after a while. I certainly couldn’t make this a regular habit, but it wasn’t bad for a curveball when you want to get smashed fast.
