Commercial Description:
A crisp hoppy German-style pilsner beer. The beer is defined by a mild malt finish and assertive, but not overwhelming, hop character.

Head is initially small, frothy/fizzy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly to moderately hoppy (flowers, herbs), with a hint of honey. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Rather nice, actually. Bright hop nose. Not bitter enough, but pretty decent otherwise.

Clear golden with little carbonation or head, yet some air adhered to the glass. It has the aroma of a vegetable basket, very earthy. This is a smooth drinker, but flat. It’s pungent without any bitterness. An odd malt-sweet blend. My old experiences with Rio Grande was inconsistency.

This beer would be great and easy to drink, but instead it has this awful vegetal herbal aroma and taste that just makes it undrinkable. Could be a bad bottle, regardless....just bad

Draught. Soapy head and straw colored body. Fragrance of floral hops and hints of melon, citrus, and honey. Grassy hop flavor plus a non-hop bitterness oddly suggestive of citrus peels. The palate is crisp and bitter. Decent beer.

bottle-pours a hazy pale yellow with a small white fizzy head. Grainy, diacytl aroma that was just plain bad! flavros are mostly grainy with notes of haygrass with the diacytl present. thin palate and cardboard finish. this is bad!

I don’t know what beer Hoss and Shag were drinking but I thought this was decent. Pours a very thin yellow with a wisp of head. Fragrant aroma- lightly fruity and flowery. Body is thin but crisp and refreshing with hints of honey and apples. Decent

Aroma is of......nothing! Appearance is a cloudy yellow with a small head. Flavor is crisp with little else going on. A slightly creamy aftertaste. Very much a lawnmower beer bringing very little to the table. Standard lager.
