If these beer selections don’t get better I am gonna rethink the whole beer of the month thing. Bleck.

Botted beer of the month. Ok beer. Nothing special. Had a sweet malt taste going but that was it.

Not very good. Dark amber with thin white head. Faint aroma of sweet malt. Thin and watery and carbonated. Little or no flavor beyond what you could get from a BMC.

This beer is terrible as they would say in I don’t know what language. It’s not too good at all. Pours a nice dark brown. That is the extent of what is good about it. The flavor just blows chunks. Need I say more? It is just another rating and that is all.

Dark amber body with a tan head. Malty and sweet aroma. Decent if unimpressive flaovr again of roasted malts predominatiing. Sl bitter finish kicdks in over the thin palate. All in all not bad but not a farorite style as well.

Beer of the Month club bottle. I was pretty scared when I saw that this was listed as a dunkel and not a bock due to "lower alcohol" and "less lingering malty taste." Ummmm....lingering malty taste is a good thing. But whatever, clear mahogany, tan head. Pretty vegetal, kind of malty with a bit of cardboard. Even with those flaws it still wasn’t all that bad. Thin body didn’t help though. Decent at its very best.

Looks like a few of us Ratebeerians got this one from the beer of the month club. I thought this one looked just sexy....huge head...lovely lacing and a great rich cherry wood clear pour. And that was the best part of this one. Aroma improves as it warms...but the taste was odd....I think the other raters hit the nail on the head with the essence of cardboard.

Really not much to say about this one. Decent enough looking beer. No real aroma or flavor stand-outs. I may as well have been drinking Bud for all the flavor this thing had. Maybe I just don’t like Dunkels.
