Oct 29, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear, light amber-brown with an off-white head. Decent lacing. Nutty aroma at first, but warming soon brings dark fruits and malt. Spicy notes as well. Flavour is dusty, malty with dark fruits and a berry-like tartness. Rum-like notes in the background. Dusty, malty finish, again with notes of dark fruits. Lingering grassy notes. Overall decent, but a bit cloying in both aroma and flavour. 29-10-09.

pours a clear caramelly brown. very little head.
spicy aroma, alc noticable, dark fruits, faint sunburned beer.
flavor is strange. spicy, caramelly, a hint of a citrussy acidness. hint of dark fruits, perhaps raisins.
palate is a bit too watery.
overall the brew comes off as being stronger than 5%, but not in a delicate way.
