13-DEC-2009, bottle @Erik, brought by Erik. Tasted blind. Amber low head, but it is very cold. Sweet spicey, but not very intense nose. Very spicey taste and lots of X-mas. Medium to low carb., short watery aftertaste. No rebuy.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, toffee, and spices, leading to a dry bitter finish.

Botella. Clear niice amber brown colour with a good lasting beige head leaving a good lacing. Aroma of herbs, cress, toasty caramel and malt. Good mouthfeel. Toasted caramel and malt in the flavour along with herbs, some dark fruits and a pleasant soft bitterness. Dry spiced toasty finish.

Moderate sweet malty aroma. Small, frothy head. Mostly diminishing longevity. Clear, red brown body. Moderate sweet flavor. Light to medium palate.

Medium amber colour. Off-white head. Soupy aroma, something wrong. Unpleasent. Flavor starts moderate sweet and finish moderate bitter. Dry texture. Soft carbonation.

500ml bottle in a trade with TheWolf, thanks Rene. Very deep reddish amber, good lasting ivory cream head. Red/dark fruity malty aroma. Reminds me a bit of Batemans XXXB, some dark toasted malts, Yes, some Christmas fruits and then some good toasty malts. I like it. It’s like an English winter warmer. Certainly the style is about right on here as an English strong. Didn’t pick it as 7%. I rather liked it. Decent balance, not too much hop. Fine.

The color is beautiful red amber and the head is creamy. The aroma has notes of fruit, malt and spice. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of roasted malt, fruit, spice, citrus and the finish is dry and slightly bitter.

Bottle. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. Amber colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Rasin notes. Light bitter flavor. Strange spicey, salty bouillon notes. Short finsih. Watery palate. Bad.
