| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 8, 2009 500ml bottle in a trade with TheWolf, thanks Rene. Very deep reddish amber, good lasting ivory cream head. Red/dark fruity malty aroma. Reminds me a bit of Batemans XXXB, some dark toasted malts, Yes, some Christmas fruits and then some good toasty malts. I like it. It’s like an English winter warmer. Certainly the style is about right on here as an English strong. Didn’t pick it as 7%. I rather liked it. Decent balance, not too much hop. Fine. Maria (6318), Thisted, Denmark
