Quack-Duck (1698), Bodensee, Germany May 5, 2008 bottle. Clear golden colour, medium-sized head. Malty and hoppy in the start, dry and thin towards the finish. pivnizub (3768), Porúří, Germany Oct 12, 2005 Bottle: Pale golden, thin firm white head, a little bit lacing; grainy or malty nose, a touch of cardboard, some hints of hops; nearly dry malty taste, slightly bitter flavour; mild malty-grainy-bitter finish. No "Super-Dort", but quite well quaffable and far better than the Pils..... MoritzF (3690), Ruhrpott, Germany Sep 26, 2005 (bottle) Decent and drinkable Dortmunder Export. Pilsener-esque appearance and taste. Quite well-made, clean, not too sweet and rather hop accentuated. bierkoning (4691), La Tropica, Netherlands Feb 22, 2005 Soft milky and malty aroma. Medium bodied with a soft bitterness, also in the aftertaste. Solid, but uneventful beer. dortmunder (961), Herdecke, Germany Oct 29, 2003 Golden colour, nice white head. Typical slightly sweet maltiness. Hopbitter notes. Very smooth, good mouthfeel. Hopbitter finish, which was more reminiscant of a Pilsener. My favourite Dortmunder Export, so far.
