Bottle 50 cl. Pours dark brown - almost black - with a vague reddish hue and a creamy, light brown head. Aroma of hard roasted malt. Quite full-bodied, hard roasted malts, a little vanilla with an edge of coffee. Malt bitter finish. 210309

Bottle, 7.1%. Weak roasted aroma, smoky, fishy. Black colour, small light brown head. The flavour is roasted and smoky, again like smoked fish. A little sweetness to balance. Good.

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown to almost black with dense tan head. Mild roasted to light chocolate malt aroma. Sweetish roasted and malt flavoured with a light caramel note coming through. Ends light roasted and smooth chocolate malty.

Bottle. Dark brown with a beige head. Caremel, molasses and roasted aroma.Smoked meat. Meaty flavours, lots of roast, somewhat sweet. A baltic Porter blended with a Rauchbier; the latter is not one of my favourites. A bit too fat, but still flavourful.

(bottle) Pitch-black coloured hue with a big and dense brown foamy head. Moderately sweet roast-malty aroma with earthy and smoky elements, accompanied by light notes of caramel and cacao, alcohol shows up when the beer gets warmer. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Solid roast-malty base with a distinctive touch of cacao and traces of tar; dry-out effect towards the moderately burnt bitter and alcoholic finish. A robust Porter from Germany (20.08.08).
