Nov 27, 2006 Tap at brewpub. Pours an average gold, with minimal head. Aroma is sweet banana. Flavor is a rounded-out banana with lots of sweetness in between the cracks. Mouthfeel is a little thin. Great beer; more like a weizen than a tripel because of the banana flavor, but it makes for an interesting experiement nonetheless. Next time it needs to be served in a goblet (they have large brandy sniffer glasses; wold probably do just as well), not a Pilsner glass.
