On tap at the brewpub in Sacramento, CA. 12 ounce sample. Strange aroma. Sweet, sugary with some spiciness. This is really bizarre...smells like marinara sauce. Seriously. I look around to see if anyone was eating anything with marinara in it or anything...nope...it’s 2:30pm on a Sunday. No one is eating squat. Ok. This is not a good aroma. Well, at least it’s pretty decent looking...mildly hazy golden body with a yellow-white medium head and fair lacing present. Wow. Vegetal off-flavors to start...boiled cabbage, holy fuck. Rotten. Becomes dry and very hoppy and bitter to finish. Please stop serving this mess of a beer.
