Sweet dark malts are hit by a weird sour apple kind of thing that I am sure is not supposed to be there. Kind of ruined it for me as I couldn’t get past this aspect of the brew. Aroma is a bit fruity, estery, with some berries and light metallic hops present. Transparent orange-amber body with a small, faint, off-white head and virtually no lacing. Starts a bit fruity with some light berry flavors. Becomes caramelly and sticky with some maltiness. A little roastiness with some mild buttery diacetyl notes to finish with some light bitterness. Fair.
