Draft at the brewpub. 7.8% Dark brown color with little head. Medium body with mild carbonation. Medium sweet caramel with surprising light raisin fruit notes. Finish is far from sticky. Very nice beer.

Sampled on tap at RCB downtown plaza. Brown-orange pour without much head. furity aroma, sweet sticky flavor, finishines sticky with some slight bittering. It was also served too cold for a cold sacramento evening, althought the alchol did eventually warm me up

Brown beer. Aroma is sweet and malty. Pretty fruity. Sweet dark malts are hit by a weird sour apple kind of thing that I am sure is not supposed to be there. Kind of ruined it for me as I couldn’t get past this aspect of the brew.

16 ounce sample from the brewpub. Aroma is a bit fruity, estery, with some berries and light metallic hops present. Transparent orange-amber body with a small, faint, off-white head and virtually no lacing. Starts a bit fruity with some light berry flavors. Becomes caramelly and sticky with some maltiness. A little roastiness with some mild buttery diacetyl notes to finish with some light bitterness. Fair.
