Commercial Description:
A blend of four select German malts paired with toasted wheat give this ale its chestnut color and rich malty flavor. Medium in body, Red Rooster is a pleasant, balanced beer from start to finish.

On tap at the River City brewpub. Pours deep copper with off white head. The mild aroma has faint crystal malt notes at a just noticeable level and nothing else. The taste is as mild as the aroma with a touch of roast, crystal maltiness and a sense of faint vague hop bitterness. I get moments of dryness from the wafer thin layer of roastiness in this brew.

Tap @ brewpub. Just like the rest of their offerings. Nasty, tasteless, boring. pours copper, white head. Aroma light malt, some faint roast and yeast. Flavor light roasted malts, caramel, with some weak hoppy notes. I feel bad for their brewer.

Reddish-copper. Malty aroma. Sweet and syrupy with some bread character redeeming it from hell but overall is like something made at a Hops.

Draft at River City. Poured light brown with an average frothy off-white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Moderate toasted sweet malty aroma. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Light sweet flavor with a light sweet finish of moderate duration.
