Sep 1, 2009 On tap at the River City brewpub. Pours deep copper with off white head. The mild aroma has faint crystal malt notes at a just noticeable level and nothing else. The taste is as mild as the aroma with a touch of roast, crystal maltiness and a sense of faint vague hop bitterness. I get moments of dryness from the wafer thin layer of roastiness in this brew.

pours copper, white head.
Aroma light malt, some faint roast and yeast.
Flavor light roasted malts, caramel, with some weak hoppy notes.
I feel bad for their brewer.

Feb 13, 2009 Reddish-copper. Malty aroma. Sweet and syrupy with some bread character redeeming it from hell but overall is like something made at a Hops.

Oct 18, 2006 Draft at River City. Poured light brown with an average frothy off-white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Moderate toasted sweet malty aroma. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Light sweet flavor with a light sweet finish of moderate duration.

Jan 23, 2006 Their best beer my account... great mahoghany color.. crisp aroma... smooth finish... malty sweet flavor with a little edge... you can really enjoy this one on a hot Summer day!
