| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 29, 2004 Very good brewpub Porter and my choice for a pint from the four I sampled. Dark, ruby red to black pour with good mocha colored head and lacing. Has a chocolately aroma, with some hoppy bitterness coming through. The flavor has elements of coffee interlaced with the chocolate and there is a bit of hoppy biitterness - almost vineous in nature that sits just right. Overall, a very good Porter. hopscotch (5490), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 3, 2004 Sparkling clear, mahogany ale. Small, creamy, khaki-colored head. Decent lacework and retention.
The nose is of milk chocolate, coffee and lots of other intertwined roasted notes.
Chocolate, coffee and grapefruit in the flavor.
Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Lengthy, toasted, mildly bitter, strawy finish. Refreshing and very drinkable. bu11zeye (5510), Frisco, Texas, USA

This beer had a small sized light brown head that was smooth and contained fine-medium sized bubbles that were mostly lasting. The body was uncarbonated and transparent with a reddish hue. The nose was that of chocolate and coffee. The flavor was of chocolate and coffee also. The mouthfeel was smooth and thin. This was a light bodied beer with fair amounts of lacing.
