Feb 13, 2009 You get a tiny 1oz sampler for free. Of those, only the regular blond and this weren’t butter bombs. So I tasted this one only. Dark brown. Lightly chocolatey aroma. It’s thin, but it has a nice smokey accent that really helps it out.

Jun 13, 2007 on tap-pours a tan head and black color with red tint. Aroma is coffee-dark malt, roasty. Taste is coffee-dark malt, roasty, acidic. OK carbonation.

Jan 3, 2004 Sparkling clear, mahogany ale. Small, creamy, khaki-colored head. Decent lacework and retention.
The nose is of milk chocolate, coffee and lots of other intertwined roasted notes.
Chocolate, coffee and grapefruit in the flavor.
Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Lengthy, toasted, mildly bitter, strawy finish. Refreshing and very drinkable.

Oct 19, 2006 Draft at River City. Poured dark brown with an average off-white frothy head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Moderate toasted caramel malty aroma. Medium body with a watery texture. Medium sweet smoke flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration.

Dec 16, 2003 TheDM and Hotstuff vacation brew 38. This draft brew was enjoyed at the brewery in Jacksonville Florida. This brew poured a large sized head of foamy fine-large sized mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a transparent uncarbonated brown colored body and a good lace. The aroma was that of a milf brown malt and the mouthfeel was smooth and tingly. The flavor was that of a medium strength brown malt.

Dec 19, 2003 Draft at RCBC in Jacksonville. This beer had a small sized light brown head that was smooth and contained fine-medium sized bubbles that were mostly lasting. The body was uncarbonated and transparent with a reddish hue. The nose was that of chocolate and coffee. The flavor was of chocolate and coffee also. The mouthfeel was smooth and thin. This was a light bodied beer with fair amounts of lacing.
