henry3r (586), Wichita, Kansas, USA Jan 24, 2007 From the tap, it was a slightly hazy, pale golden colored beverage with a small frothy white head that was mostly lasting and left good lacing on the glass. The aromas were a complex mix of sweet malts and floral hops. There was light bread and roasted grain with a hint of grapefruit and floral hops. There were also notes of apple and white wine. The body was medium-full with a soft carbonation and a wonderfully creamy texture. The flavor starts off moderately sweet and morphs to a light bitterness through the long finish. There is also a wonderful smooth alcohol warmth that develops throughout.
