Dec 7, 2006 Dark brown amber in color, thin white head atht fades quickly, aroma of alcohol and plum, nutty flavor, very thin body, watery, some dark fruit flavors, besides teh aroma it reminded me more of an english brown ale

Nov 22, 2006 dark watery brown with little white head, crisp toasty taste, a bit more malty in the nose than the taste, very much like other american winters but with more alcohol and i think better of it than some. almost like a sour ale in sipping. pretty good not the best not the worst

Sep 24, 2006 Bottle. Dark brown with a large frothy brown-yellow head and lacing. The aroma has dark bread and creamy faint spice, apples, and grapes. The flavour is kind of bland - some chocolate and fruitiness like grape. The palate is creamy and sour.
