Sep 20, 2002 Clear auburn. Fizzy head reduces to nothing. Miniscule carbonation. Aroma of hay, grass and light caramel. Fizzy, grassy and dry with hints of toffee. Bitter but not much hop flavor. Even at room temperature it’s kind of bland and lifeless. Filling and gaseous. Finishes with a mown hay wrapped in sugarless toffee flavor and a redeeming hint of chocolate. Redeeming for the sake of saving this from macro swill status.

Jun 24, 2002 Probably the best Riverhorse brew that I have sampled. Very clean and refreshinging, not to heavy.

Nov 19, 2001 Yuck! I had this on tap in a small Baltimore bar and they may have dirty hoses or something, but this beer really was a travesty. Brown, murky, disgusting with notes of rotten fish.

Oct 8, 2001 Dominant coffee flavor in aroma and first sip. High carbonation at first - I felt the bubbles dancing on my tongue , but it settled down after a while. A very nice brew.
