Bottle shared by Robert at SL, private Monday evening tasting. Pour was pretty typical looking for a wit, maybe a bit more amber colors vs. the golden white-yellow type appearance. The aroma was floral, lavendar, chamomile-like. The spices and coriander notes were gentle underneath. The flavor followed, some strong lavendar qualities, something strongly floral, somewhat distracting with a medicinal quality to it. Meh, a unique twist for sure, but I wasn’t down with it.

On tap in the summer of 2008: Pours a hazy deep golden with a thin, wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of fresh ground coriander and a sweet biscuity pale maltiness. Body starts with good fullness and carbonation with a light orange citrus flavor and good coriander spice. Smooth, full flavored yet pretty drinkable.

Bottle. A cloudy straw-colored pour with a HUGE off-white head that leaves rings of lacing. Loads of coriander, zesty orange peels, lemons, and some bananas in the wheaty, yeasty, INTENSE aroma. Big body for the style. A little creamy here and there. Starts off very sweetly with some caramel, creamy honey flavors, and slight vanilla. Zesty oranges, bananas, and a tangy wheatiness follow. Finishes kinda dry with lemons. A spicy yeastiness throughout. Underrated as hell!

Pours a hazy golden with very nice head retention... Aroma is yeasty wheaty with coriander, no hops, no sweetness, very stock wit aroma with citrusy lemon/orange notes... Flavor is slightly lemony very average wit... i remember this being more belgian blonde ale like in the past, if changes have been made it is much more traditional than i remember... Decent mouthfeel, decent body....

Possibly an off batch. Bottle had a ring of thick crusty stuff at the bottom (not your average cloudy sediment). Poured a clear gold with a fluffy white head that stuck around. Aroma was pleasant after a bit; almost rosy or with some kind of sweet pleasant aroma of that sort. Flavor was overly pilsner-like (a minus in my book). The usual wit spices didn’t come out very well.

Bottle. Pours a hazy dark golden yellow with a fluffy white head. Aroma of wheat, yeast, coriander, orange peel and a touch of banana. Flavor is wheat, orange zest, coriander, citrus and some yeasty spiceness with a light to medium body and a citrus spice finish.
