River Horse Green Tea Ale

Kennett Square Brewfest 2008. No notes, but this had a very watery, non-beer taste to it. The green tea was very apparent, but it overrode the taste of everything else and didn’t work well. Interesting idea. Hey Hopdog, thanks for entering everything already.

On tap at the KSBF ’08. Poured from 12oz, unlabeled bottles. Poured a deeper and cloudy amberish/brown color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of herbalness (I guess from the green tea), some roast and toastiness. Tastes follow suit with the same toasted herbalness.
