Aroma was floral/piney hops. The flavor was very sweet and the hops were there, but not overwhelming. I’ve had hoppier American Pale Ales than this. Heck, I’ve had hoppier STOUTS than this. Overall, it was good..but the mouthfeel was thick, but rather flat (could’ve used a little more carbonation) WISEGUY572 (1246), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 2, 2007 Hazy orange-brown. Palate is toffee, in fact sugar babies. Hoppy as well but with sugary palate the hops balance it well. Aroma of tea and malt. Very enjoyable. unclemattie (2416), Georgia, USA

Medium resiny hop aroma. Nice dose of caramel. Flavor has a nice hop bite to it. Consists of nice malt body, and a very nice hop bitterness bite. Carbonated very nicely and completely balanced. Full bodied and very enjoyable. This is a very underrated beer! kenb (1100), Oregon, USA

Nose is a nice dose of piney hops. Taste starts with some orange, then some pineapple, and pine hoppy goodness on top of a nice malt backbone. This is balanced quite well with the hops taking center stage. Carbonation is moderate, body is full. Very nice hoppy APA. jerc (3924), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 20, 2007 Bottle shared by DuctTape. Amber body with a small off-white head. Mild hoppy aroma, light grass and resin. Mild flavour, light resiny bitterness throughout. Average to thin palate. Pleasant but too mild and muted. 6/3/6/3/12 jwdevalue (158), Neptune, New Jersey, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 20, 2007 Pours a clouded amber with a one finger creme head. Nose is hoppy, metallic, and a bit like an acorn too. Flavor is slightly sweet with a calm hop presence. Feel is a bit thick but with low carbonation. Overall it is pretty drinkable. But I won’t be saying it is one to run out to the store for.
