Too sweet - off putting. Looks nice - deep mahogany, small bubble white head. Taste - nice pale malt, with tons of woody caramel notes - like aroma, too much. Medium mouthfeel. A good beer buried by the sweetness. ChainGangGuy (2613), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jun 10, 2007 Appearance: Pours a reddish copper-hued, clear body with a loosely organized, thin ring of white bubbles set around the far edge of the beer. Posivitely headless!
Smell: Little else besides a light, bready malt aroma with just a bit of grassiness.
Taste: Middling, sweet malt dough flavor. Some citrusy hops, however faint, finally present themselves in the abrupt, dry finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Somewhat watery.
Drinkability: Though one might think a "Hop Hazard" would imply some sort of hop-based danger or calamity, its nothing of the sort - I hereby propose a change of title to "Precious Hop Kitten". bbp182 (255), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 5, 2007 12oz bottle. Dark copper colored body, clear. Sweaty BO hop nose, tinny and metallic and sour smelling. Semi-crisp up front, more coarse burnt hops and moderate bitterness across the middle and back. Seems moldy. Didn’t really enjoy it too much.
