Commercial Description:
Brewing the perfect ale is truly a balancing act ... Hazardous work you might say. With Hop Hazard our challenge was to hand craft a malt rich base that could counterbalance a combustible five-hop blend and still leave your taste buds with enough room to enjoy a unique, dry-hopped finish.

Copper color with nice carbonation. Good roasted flavor. Robust hop flavors that vanish quickly from palet. Solid Pale ale.

Pours a golden amber with a light tan head. Aroma is loaded with the citrus and pine of hops. Nice hoppish bitterness to the flavor with some caramel malt.

Surprisingly good American style pale. Tasty dry hop, some juice, an understated IPA. Good head, lots of lace in glass. Citrus fog aroma. Good mouthfeel. Slight ageing, thanks to sample delivered directly by Captain Couger.

bottle. clear orange/golden. Medium carbonation. Aroma is muted hops and a small amount of malt. Taste is citrus hops, a little bit of bitterness, and a watery, clean finish. not much going on here, pretty thin bodied and could use more hop character.

Golden amber ale with a thin white head. Caramel malt aroma with very faint hops. In mouth, a rather light bodied APA with light malts and the faint floral hops. Too light, and dissapointing. No Hop Hazard here, whycall it that??? August 26,2006 at McGregor’s, Henrietta, NY.

12oz bottle poured an amber color with a small head. Aroma was weak considering it was dry hopped. Taste had more malt than hops going on. Not what I expected from a beer called Hop Hazard.

Decent APA, fresh hop nose and good, hop bitterness. A crisp, easy drinking beer that goes well with an outdoor bbq.
