Commercial Description:
Brewing the perfect ale is truly a balancing act ... Hazardous work you might say. With Hop Hazard our challenge was to hand craft a malt rich base that could counterbalance a combustible five-hop blend and still leave your taste buds with enough room to enjoy a unique, dry-hopped finish.

Light amber color, white head. Spicy, hoppy aroma. Taste isn’t as hoppy as aroma makes you expect. Flavor is floral and hoppy, but with a definite maltiness. An average APA.

Bottle. Middle of the road pale ale. Surprisingly weak hop presence given the dry hopping and "strong hop aroma" claim.

[12 oz. bottle] Medium copper color with a medium white head. Nice hoppy and peppery aroma. Initial hoppy taste that doesn’t last very long but leaves a semi-bitter and peppery hop aftertaste. A tad watery.

On tap at the Porterhouse Brewpub. Nice coppery color, nice hop smell and taste. A little on the thin/watery side, but not terribly so. Very decent beer overall

Poured a medium amber color with a small off white head. Hoppy, citric aroma (oranges) and tastes. Lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Watery body.

I had this on tap at the Rochester BrewFest. The color is nice for a pale ale. The smell is probably the best thing about this beer -- dry hopping is the way to go. The taste is a bit skunky. Decent beer, but needs more to it.

Copper color, good bubbly off-white head, hops & citrus in the nose, very hoppy body, I think maybe they chose the wrong types of hops for this, they just didn’t seem to do the trick for the beer, the hop varieties didn’t appear to get along with each other in the beer, the flavors were a bit of because of that, dry & spicy finish, very crisp & clean, maybe the receipe needs to be changed around a bit so the hops can work better with each other & make the final outcome better as well
