12oz bottle, looks interesting, amber-red, doesn’t smell much like cherries to me. It tastes like a decent amber ale to me but I really cannot taste the cherries, I guess there is a slight sweetness but no real definitive cherry flavor. overall easy to drink but odd. Bottle… Hazy golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. Decent retention. The docile nose is mildly tangy with a dab of chocolate and maybe cherry – maybe not. Medium-bodied with a tannic mouthfeel and stinging carbonation. Perfectly balanced. Definitely more cherry in the flavor than the aroma. Sweet, medium-roast malts offset nicely by mineral bitterness. Crisp, dry finish. Bottle courtesy of scraff!

Strong dry malt extract. Orange-amber color with a small white head. Strong malt taste with a light sweetness. Mildly chalky palate.

7% alc but tastes very smooth. I didnt taste cherries too much but none the less I enjoyed this brew.

Pours brown/amber. Smells of chocolate, sugar and a faint hit of melted cherries. Malty taste, nothing really special about it.

Bottle courtesy of Zathrus 13 poured a lightly hazy reddish amber with a large lasting creamy amber head. Aromas of bead, light carmel and a hint of cherry. Palate was light to medium bodied and crisp. Flavors of light carmel, light bread and a hint of cherry with a crisp lightly fruity finish.

20081130 12oz bottle from RB Spirits. Deep caramel color with small but lasting white head. That’s where the party ends. Aroma of alcohol and malt, some DMS, and hints of play-doh, with perhaps a distant fruity note and then a stronger grenadine aroma emerging with temp. Full bodied and coating with husky graininess and dry grass flavors late. Finish is quick but sweet with more cereal graininess. No fruit flavors noticed without serious concentration.

12-oz bottle received via trade with zathrus13. Pours clear amber with an average, rocky, off-white head, mostly lasting with good lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (bread, cookie, straw), light hops (herbs), average yeast (horse blanket, leaves) with notes of plum, apple, cherry, cola, and dust. Light bodied, mineral texture, average carbonation, and a metallic finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness.
