| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 2, 2009 Bottle. Different label than that in the picture. Mine says 5% ABV. Pours a clear copper with a smallish off-white head. Crisp aroma with lots of caramel, some spiciness, and hints of wet wheat bread. Good body for the style. High level of carbonation. Sweet, grainy maltiness upfront. Finishes a tad dry with some acidic lemony qualities. Rciesla (3670), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA

Always liked the bottle for this one unfortunately that’s where my love for this beer ends. A pale malty, grainy, and somewhat skunk y session beer. Need i say more. pressboxjoe (73), , New Jersey, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Apr 5, 2009 Bottle. Hazy gold with a white head that foams like car shampoo. Active carbonation that never dies down. Smells like a tailgate at first, then, mysteriously, doesn’t smell at all. Taste is super sweet, banana and pear and honey. Halfway through, a deep inhale does betray a bit of maltiness. It is, in fact, a bit creamy - not fizzy or thin at all. I suspect if I brought a case of this to a summer picnic, this would be the beer that, after all the Rolling Rock and Miller Lite were gone and people had no choice but to reach for this, they would say, "This is really good. I should have been drinking this. What’s it called again?" ben4321 (1020), Rockville, Maryland, USA

Overall Impression:
Pretty boring pale lager, nothing distinguishes it really. This was part of the my Aug 2008 beer of the month pack, looks like River Horse makes some interesting beers, too bad they sent me this one...

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 27, 2009 Bottle Pours a cloudy gold with a small white head. The head lasts okay. Aroma of sweet malts and a touch of honey. Has a good carbination. A fairly good crispness. Alright finish. Definately has a light body. Has a touch of creaminess. This is not a bad beer. Lacks a big punch but very refreshing. swoopjones (1915), Buffalo, New York, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 11, 2009 Bottle. Not your typical lager. Notes of honey sweetness, floral. Reminds me almost of a kellerbier. Very drinkable & not bad at all
