Faint aroma o toasted grains, lavender notes, sweet lemon peel, light hops, not much else. The flavor is mildly hoppy with light bitterness. Apple juice(odd coincidence) notes are introduced with the first sip. Acidity is high, lemony with lime twist notes and overruns the whole taste. Sweetness is medium to medium-high. the taste as a whole resembles a blend of apples, lemonade and floor cleaner. Finishes acidic, lemony, lightly hoppy and sweet. The mouthfeel is fizzy, light bodied with a touch of syrup, but at least it’s refreshing feeling and pretty easy to imbibe. Not offensive, not good. mgumby10 (1858), Jupiter, Florida, USA

Smells of some grain, a little citrus fruit. Apple juice comes to mind. Very citrusy flavor. I get alot of crisp lemon flavor throughout. Pretty easy drinking and is sort of refreshing. The citrus flavor coats the palate and leaves a sharp little swetness on the tongue. kind of like you took a sip of some light lemon aid. Not bad for this style. jason (1624), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA

That being said, there’s no head, no lacing, and not one bit of hop presence, although the malt flavor itself is quite sour. The latter seems to be a River Horse trademark. I guess it’s drinkable in a totally flat sort of way? Does anyone at River Horse know what the word carbonation means? bbp182 (255), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

Try Paulaner Lager, that’s a good one. Sregnar35 (732), Rotterdam, New York, USA
