whaleman (2171), North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 31, 2005 Draught at the Porterhouse Restaurant. Deep ruby-brown body with a filmy, light tan head. Aroma is like buttered chocolate popcorn plus some roasty coffee. Mostly dry coffee flavor with chocolate highlights and moderate roast. A fair stout. Jine (889), Nutley, New Jersey, USA Sep 8, 2004 On tap at the Porterhouse Brepub. A nice stout, if just a little watery for my taste. Maybe this is intentional to make it a little smoother. Not a big problem though, this was the last beer on my sampler and was an enjoyable way to finish it off. hopdog (5534), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 29, 2004 On tap AT the Porterhouse Brewpub. Poured a dark black with an averaged sized tan head. Aroma and tastes of roasted malts with mild chocolate. Lightly sweet. obxdude10 (1546), Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 8, 2004 Definitely the best the Porterhouse had this day, great stout, basically black in color, nice tan fluffy head that laced around the glass, nose full of malt & chocolate, subtle burnt flavors along with more chocolate & dark malts, a little bit of a hint of hops in the body as well to balance everything out just right, burnt dark chocolate in the finish, excellent stout
