| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 25, 2006 Sampled on draught at the brewery in Lambertville, NJ. Pours to a bright, burnt orange to red color, with a tight white head, that fades, and a moderate amount of carbonation. The nose has some nice, soft, flowery hop aroma, paired with some sweet malt aroma, and fruity esters. The palate is soft, with some good pale, and sweet malt flavor, paired with juicy fruit flavor. This beer finishes with more malt and fruit flavors up front, then ends with a mild hop bitterness to balance out the sweet malt flavor of this beer. Nice, easy, drinking, session brew. A good effort, and a very food friendly beer that would match with lots of food combinations. weepingsuds (222), Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA
