May 23, 2005 It’s nice to see some River Horse brew showing up in Ohio, I enjoyed some brews from them last fall while visiting relatives in NJ. This is basically just a nice mellow summer ale. Golden and clear, sweet fruity aroma. Taste is lighltly bready with fruity citrus. Mostly dry finish with lingering lemon zest.

May 22, 2005 Had this on tap and was disappointed. Very simple. Had a hard time finding hops. Color was light (that may have set the tone for me). I wouldn’t call it a swill, but it sure fits into my "lawnmower" catagory

May 21, 2005 Pours a straw color with almost no head. No lacing. Aroma is heavily bread tainted.
Taste is hoppy with a little spice at the end.....pepper???

May 19, 2005 Pours light straw color with very little head. Aroma is a little perfumy. Hops, and light malts can be found in the taste. Starts out sweet and fruity and finishes slightly grassy. Decent palate for a summer beer. Not too watery but refreshing. This one was o.k. but not something that I will come back to soon.

May 18, 2005 poured with no head, color of straw. . .Aroma of clean laundry; flavour was on the grassy side.. . Not a bad beer, but not something I would turn to after mowing my lawn or something.

May 17, 2005 Pours a light-gold. Smells fruity on a way. unexplainable scent. Tastes of berries slightly then finishes clean. Not much after taste and very light. Theres a lack of that crisp clean feel that a summer beer should have. Maybe it wasn’t cold enough.

May 15, 2005 I love going to The River Horse Brewery for a sampling when I’m in Lambertville and enjoy their events too. That said sometimes I find the offerings a bit thin. Enjoyed the Summer Blonde more than I expected. A satisfying taste, straw golden color, fair+ mouthfeel on a hot day, good with eats and quite drinkable with the relatively low alcohol content.

May 10, 2005 Bottle: pours yellow with a thin white head. Streaming carbonation. Light hairspray hop aroma. Decent flavor, easy drinking, smooth. Moderately hopped with a mildly bitter finish. Uncomplicated and simple like they said. Decent.
