Looks, smells and tastes like an actual Belgian Tripel. You can feel the alcohol content on the back of your throat and there is that typical sweetness in the flavor and aroma that you find in most Belgian beers. It is a bit sweeter than the description states, though.

number 100 to rate this thanks goes to weeare138 for this. from the bottle. poured goldem honey, with a small white head that left a very small amount of lacing. aroma sour, with a big kick of alcohol followed by pine, grassy, than get a whiff of something sweet could it be the vanilla I couldn’t tell. flavor, a light lemon, yeast, a slight sourness, and alcohol. enjoyed this one

An almost opaque yellow beer, the head was minimal then quickly vanished. The aroma and taste is extremely flowery and sweet with a hint of hops to keep it the sweetness in check. The creamy smooth mouthfeel is nice, but I would have liked to see a little more carbonation. Don’t taste the (supposedly) 10% alcohol at all.

This was our favorite beer of the variety pack. From start to finish, this ale has a significant flowery presence. The pour is a dark yellow color with clear body. The Tripel Horse produces a fantastic large white head that, unfortunately, doesn’t stick around long enough to enjoy it. Aroma is a heavy flower scent, and we picked up cloves and ginger as well. Initial taste gives a heavy sweet, finishing with a light bitter taste that quickly goes away. Mouthfeel is medium and oily with fizzy carbonation.

a tripel for people who don’t like tripels. sweet but not cloying. no real wham bam tripel taste. but hey it gets you drunk and it doesn’t taste bad

very sweet, easy to drink. we shall see if it gets better in time, for now not overwhelming taste hard to believe 10%

Pours a semi-flat orange with nice lacing. Aroma of the faintest vanilla with mostly citrusy yeast highlights. Taste is very floral and citrusy sour, with hints of orange and mango. The alcohol, despite being 10%, is hardly noticeable; in fact, this could pass for a brew with 1/2 that ABV. Nice slippery flow on the palate. Leaves a crisp, refreshing aftertaste of citrus and subtle yeast. Good brew that I would love more of to cellar and see what happens.
