| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 27, 2009 Did you know this beer has 10% ABV? (sarcasm, given the label) The best thing going for this beer is its golden orange color...very nice looking. Brown sugar and vanilla nose, but also undertones of rotten egg. Taste is sweet at first, but no real sophistication. Not a great tripel. travita (1970), Frisco, Texas, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 15, 2009 Tap. Moderate notes of grain, lemon and perfume for the malt and hops, light to moderate dough and soap for the yeast, with hints of clove in the background. Head is small frothy whole with good lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is mostly clear yellow. Flavor is moderately sweet to start and finishes moderately sweet and a touch bitter. Palate is light to medium, creamy and has a soft carbonation. A pretty good Abbey Tripel that leans a little to much on the sweet side. angrypirate06 (781), Texas, USA

Aroma of flowers, dryness and honey. Taste is candi, and way too sweet for a triple. Light bubbles and somewhat syrupy mouthfeel. Under attenuated!
