| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Jan 3, 2003 I always look forward to tasting a new stout. The dark color and great head was calling me toward it. Unfortunately it did not deliver. It had overly burnt roasted malt flavor and too bitter almost chemical aftertaste. There was a great cofee aroma that could not be followed up in taste. DaSilky1 (2001), San Diego, California, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 2, 2002 Real smooth, creamy, milky stout (nitro dispensed). Touch of roasted bitter balance. Compromises nothing in flavor for such a smooth brew.
