Commercial Description:
Brewed like the stout that made Ireland famous and named after Boston's most memorable mayor, this beer has a lot to live up to. Brewed with roasted and flaked barley and Kent Golding hops, this ale is smooth, rich and very dry.

Had this one on canal st., can’t help but compare it to Guiness, probably less sweet and more chocolaty compared to coffee.

On draft at Canal St. location. Dark beer with a beige head that is pocked with bubble marks like the surface of the moon. Strong roasted coffee flavor, with an aftertaste that leaves you looking for grinds in the bottom of the glass. Thick head coats the sides of the glass.

Sample from tap at the brewpub in Canal street. Pours brown with an amber note. Creamy light brown head. Aroma is malty, slight roasted. Flavour is roasted dark malt almost with a coffee, dry, creamy mouthfeel and bitter into the finish.

On tap on canal street. Very nice deep dark color with a small creamy head. The flavor was coffee, chocolate and malt. Very nice and roasty, nutty mouthfeel. Good stuff.
