hazy amber, fine dirty white head, streaks of drippy lace, light biscuit malt aroma, well balanced flavor with plenty of bitterness on a dry malt base, bitterness lasts through a long finish, just to dry for me

Draft at the brewpub. Light amber color. Malty, hoppy nose. A nice malt start wit ha crisp, prevelant hop finish. Mild to medium body. Pretty good.

Ignore my numbers, I don’t care for hopped up beers, if you like hops, you gotta try this. Some hints of floral hops in the aroma, just barely. Slightly darker than the typical pale yellow american lager. I think there is a little bit of haze in the appearance. Good medium hop bite, starts out wanting to be an IPA and almost gets there. Medium low carbonation. Overall, a good amber ale that borders on IPA with the hop characters. Finish is like many hopped beers, bitter and medium length lasting. Glad to have had the chance to taste this beer. IMHO Not quite as enjoyable as the less hopped Rock Bottom North Star Amber Ale.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured an orange-bronze color with a large yellow-white head. The aroma was a bit light but was sweet, fruity and malty. The flavor was fruity and nutty with a moderate hop presence. The finish was nutty and hoppy.

Draught sample at brewery. Hazy reddish amber with light foamy lacing head. Very nice opaque luminescent quality. BIt of biscuit and fruity hops in the nose. Mild hoppiness but clean. Medium watery body with medium carbonation. Starts rather dry with some nutty grainy bitterness. Neutral fruit and a bit of grassy hops. Nice hoppy finish with mild sweet malt notes. Light bitter after. Very enjoyable amber ale.
