Oct 12, 2009 Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a dark caramel-amber color with a small beige head. The aroma was faint tangy and sour malts. The flavor was tangy and faintly bitter with light fruity and floral hops and a dry nutty undertone. The finish was short, crisp and fruity. Decent.

Sep 20, 2009 (draft @ Rivertowne Pour House - Monroeville, PA) Lightly hazy amber pour with a fluffy white head. Biscuity aroma mixes with some dry hops and very light citrus. Flavor is very mild. Some dry hops mixing with sweet malts at the finish. Nicely balanced but rather watery.

Sep 17, 2009 Draught at Monroeville: Aroma of graham crackers. Poured amber in color with a small, off-white head that diminished but lasted around the edges. Clear. Not sparkling. Looks thin. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of malts, light hops, slight grains, slight caramel, and corn. Light body. Thin texture. Average carbonation. Malt, grain, and slight caramel finish.

Jan 24, 2009 Pale yellow lager color. No head. Slight fruity smell. Not as strong as 6% would indicate on the palate. Rather laid back for a higher alky brew. Just enough personality to let you know this is an ale. Mild unhoppy finish. I don’t think this is 6%! Too nice.

Jan 24, 2009 Draught sample from the Pour House. Light raw grain aroma - a tad sour or of unfermented sugar. Mild grassy hops. Clear amber with no head. Medium-light body with medium-high carbonation. Starts with some decent malt character but then hits that sweet-tangy sugar note. A bit odd ... stale? Dry nutty bitter finish.
