Commercial Description:
This deliciously balanced English ale packs a smooth and creamy Fuggles hop flavor. Dispensing this beer on nitrogen enhances these qualities, adding to the complexity of this English staple.

Sweet coldwater and cat pee aroma. Cereal, pepper, slightly briny, medium bitter. Starchy mouthfeel. Back to the workshop.

Pours a clear fizzy apple cider color with a thick eggshell head. A nice sweet toffee nose. Flavor is kind of on the weak side. There is a lot of grainy flavors without much bitterness to balance it. The texture is kind of watery as well. Pretty average ESB.

On tap at the Pour House. Clear, bubbly pale orange, off white head. Aroma is malt and grass. Flavor is the same with toffee, and of course watery.

clear dark gold, creamy beige head, lots of lace, light hop aroma, creamy body, lots of good bitter flavor well blended with caramel malt, just enought sweetness to keep the balance, nice long bitter finish, this is what an ESB is supposed to be like

Draft sample at brewpub. Golden amber color. Slight floral nose. Nice milt malt flavor with a distinct fuggle hops finish. Big fan. Very, very drinkable.
