Commercial Description:
This light-medium bodied ale is perfect for these warm lazy days. With banana and clove overtones as a result of fermentation with a unique strain of German Ale yeast, this is one hefe with a boost.

Very cloudy hefe weizen like most unfiltered, and the aroma is a welcome hello to your nose.. Banana, clove, and a yeasty sweetness wins you over and then the taste you would expect from a hefe’. Very smooth, refreshing, and a beer that you can enjoy over and over on a warm summer day.

Pours a hazy light nectarine peach flesh color. A creamy white head that didn’t last very long. Nose of yeast, clove, and banana. Very spicy. A little bit of sour citrus flavor. A nice bitey yeasty flavor. Solid.

Good, rather spicey hefe aroma. Cloudy light yellow beer appearnce, like a witbier. Bananas, oranges, and spices abound in the flavors. Not too overwhelming as with many spiced wheat beers. Has some good tingles. Pretty good taste and easy to enjoy. Friendly and happy. Has some characteristics of wine in the flavors. Just a tad of bitterness. Overall, not bad.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a cloudy pale straw yellow color with a trace of a white head. The aroma was light wheat and banana. The flavor was a nice mix of clove, bubblegum and wheat. There was a banana undertone that lingered on the finish. A nice example of the style.

Draught sample at brewery. Light lemony clove aroma, wheaty, yeasty and a touch of banana. Cloudy pale butterscotch with light foamy lacing head. Medium-light watery body with medium carbonation. Good weizen profile with some acidity to it. Wheaty with mild clove and chalky bitter finish. A bit more lemony that many other German wheats so it takes on a bit of witbier quality. Lemon yeasty finish with light bitterness.
