Nose is pretty much all a grassy grain character. A little grapey fruit flavor with a very crisp finish. A nice spicy hop presence with a decent body. The carbonation in this seems a little light according to the style description, but this is really my first kolsch I’ve rated, so I’m not really sure. A very refreshing beer that is pretty sessionable. zebracakes (1219), Washington DC, USA

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Sep 3, 2007 Clean aroma and ubiquitous pale yellow american lager color. Barely any carbonation on the palate. Has a pilsner bite to it it is well controlled. Finish leaves that lingering pilsner bite building on the back of the palate.
