Belgian yeast finish. keepersj12 (774), Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA Jun 22, 2009 I’m not a lager guy which may explain the low scores. Hardly any aroma at all. Flavor was very bland. watery finish. Not too good. Nate (2533), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 24, 2009 Draught sample from the Pour House. Reddish orange amber clear with no head. Mild sweet malty nose and a bit of fruity hops. Medium bodied with medium-light carbonation. Nice Vienna with sweet overall start and a bit of bittering hops. Finishes smooth with light bitter nutty after. A tad sweet but otherwise fine. FROTHINGSLOSH (1961), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 3, 2009 Sampled on draft this beer poured a dark red-amber color with a khaki head. The aroma was sour, tangy and malty. The flavor was dryish, bitter and had a floral hop presence. The finish was sour and tangy. Nicely malty. Solid. Naka (524), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 28, 2008 Sampled at the Pour House. Pours clear amber with a slight reddish hue. Small white fizzy head gone after a few seconds. Nose has some toffee malty characteristics. Has a tasty sweet, yet bitter flavor. Good balance of toffee and brown sugar with the slightly citrus / grapefruit hops. Maybe I’m crazy, but I tasted hops in this!. Medium body that leaves a nice bitterness. Aurelius (2643), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Jun 30, 2008 Slight toast aroma. Clear, medium dark brown-yellow. Fruity, chemical-bocky, very light toast, medium bittering. An average rendition of a bad style. dpjuart (670), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 14, 2008 Daft sample at pub. Pours coper orange, minimal head. Malty nose with crisp hop character. Clean. Mouthfeel is very thin with strong malty notes and a crisp hop finish. Nice body to a nice lager. Very Drinkable. LinusStick (1831), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 9, 2008 A very average vienna. Aroma was pretty weak. Caramel malt and toffee if you really search for it. Pour was a flat bubble-less burnt orange with no head. Taste was very weak with light malt in the front and an astringent Stridex hot aftertaste. Tasted a lot bigger than 5.5%. Blah.
