Deep, clear, ruby-black. Spicy coffee. Not fizzy. OIly mouth. Clean roast finish. Solid.

Jun 7, 2008 On tap at the Bocktown, nice place! Beautiful rolling pour, very nice looking creamy head. Attractive in the aesthetic sense. fairly flat IMHO could use some bubbly but on style. For some reason I was expecting an imp stout. But I am pleasantly surprised to find this palatable and roasty. This does not seem to be high on the alky scale. Finish is interesting and mild, wet old campfire coals.
