Pours a deep hazy golden colour with a thin qquickly dissipating head. Peppery and lemony-banana aromas, if there is such a thing. Slightly sweet and more spiciness in the slightly carbonated medium mouthfeel, then more sweet fruitiness in the finish. Nice. dirkules (613), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

This taste more like a wit biere. Flavor is somewhat tangy and bubbly. Sweet, fruity finish. Thanks go to the Montreal crew. tupalev (2618), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 31, 2004 On tap, Beer Bistro. Fantastic spicy and lemon aroma. Frothy thick head. A very cloudy dark yellow pour. Intense spicy flavours at the start, followed by a mix of fruit, including banana. A very interesting spicy finish that I couldn’t identify, but enjoyed. Didn’t really notice the alcohol. A good beer and my favourite of the night at Beer Bistro. wnp22 (682), Toronto (Roncesvalles Village), Ontario, Canada

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | May 24, 2004 Clear gold, good carbonation to yellow head, slightly irregular, leaving lace. Nose comes with boatloads of coriander, faint citrus and fleeting alcohol, but it’s the soupy corianderpowder that overpowers everything in sight. Taste exists of coriander, coriander, coriander, and maybe a touch of sage. Covering diacetyl, I seem to detect. Sweetish taste, buttery impression... Slick, soupy mouthfeel - the coriander. Bit of alcoholburn. OOOOOOuuch!! Give me the original anytime. Spices to cover the emperors’ nakedness.
