Poor apperance, poor head and trouble body, but good spicy touch (coriander) and well balanced.

Very nice beer from a smaal Belgian Brewery in the Ardennes. Blond, 75 cl bottle. But if you get the chance, you should drink it from the tap! Very good on a very hot day to enjoy in the sun. Don’t drink too much or you might see the gobblins!

Blond color. Spicy aroma. Malty, some sweetness, Belgian yeast, well brewed, very much Belgian-like, no defects, balanced.

660ml bottle. Quebec version of the classic La Chouffe authorized by Brasserie d’Achouffe. Just opened both at the same time and the Quebec version didn’t do better than my cousin Louis in a beauty contest. Cloudy yellow body with almost no head. Strong cereal and corn syrup aroma. Sweeter and more syrupy than the original. The original is sweet enough for me. The sweetness is also more pleasant in the original (honey vs corn syrup). Pretty good for a widely available quebec beer.

Cloudy orange/yellow. Some yeast in the bottom of the bottle. Clean and lively taste. Fairly typical. Alcohol content is well hidden in the flavor.

Hazy golden, disappearing white head. Orange and some yeast in the aroma with a warming alcohol note and light spices. Penetrating orangy flavor, milky and yeasty notes. Fresh with soda-pop characters.

Fairelly one of my best blonde beer. Spicy aroma, spicy and fruity beer, with just the good dose of sweet flavor. Drink this one really cold, its better.

Bottle. Hazy golden colour with a white head. Fruity aroma with hints of yeast, citrus and spices. Sweet malty flavor, also a little spicy and hints of citrus. A little sweet spicy finish.
