A hazy orange beer with a disappearing white head. The aroma is sweet spicy with notes of citrus and coriander, and so is the flavor, though in the flavor light notes of hops mixes in.

(Bottle 65 cl) Pours an unclear pale golden with a tiny, white head. Fresh, citrusy nose. Good, full body with accents of yeast, citrus and coriander. Lightly sulphurous finish. Very, very true to the Belgian style and quite neat. 270106

A fairly good rendition of the Chouffe theme - maltier and less yeasty than the main brew from Belgium, but similar is fruitiness and hoppiness. Perhaps finishing a bit sweeter (a function of reduced yeastiness and lowered alcohol perception (it’s still 8%) Finally a civilized tap handle in Toronto!

Blond color. Spicy aroma. Malty, some sweetness, Belgian yeast, well brewed, very much Belgian-like, no defects, balanced.
