thornecb (1736), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA Aug 16, 2009 Pours hazy gold into a tumbler. Bright white head slowly recedes to skim surface leaving slight spottting. Wheat and lemon aromas. Dry and wheaty from front to back. Tart lemon and orange citrus finish. RichardGretton (3131), Leicestershire, England Aug 1, 2009 Tap@Resto-Bistro Saint-James, Quebec City. Golden beer with an orange peel and dry aroma. The flavour is quite bitter fruity and off biitter. Overall a very average witbier. cfrancis (293), Gloucester, Ontario, Canada Jul 21, 2009 A very nice wheat beer. Citrus nose. Taste is highly carbonated with orange, lemon. Taste is weaker than some wheat beers and that’s where this falls short. jimmay (179), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada Jun 30, 2009 660 ml bottle from grocery store in downtown Montreal. Pours dark straw colour, with nice prure white lacey head. Nice spicy, citrusy aroma. Taste is ame. light, fruity. Carbonation is plentiful, but fine. Nice white beer! heemer77 (4294), Savannah, Missouri, USA Jun 20, 2009 Rating from 2006. From a bottle. The body was light cloudy yellow with a white head. The aorma had lemons and flowers with a hint of clove. The taste was orange peels with a little clove. There was also some red licorice and was a little bland over all. zebracakes (1214), Washington DC, USA May 31, 2009 Bottle 05.30.09. Pours cloudy yellow gold, white head. Aroma is spicy, funky, and musty. Flavor is coriander, citrus, sausage. JesseM (661), Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada Feb 9, 2009 341mL from a mixed sixer I got at a little Dep in Hull while in Ottawa for the OUA champ swim meet. Pours your standard hazy goldish white with a small white head. Aroma is just great, I love the unique yeast character of this brewery. Flavour is a really nice blend of barley and wheat malts with a watery feel to it that actually works as it helps lay out the dry yeasty awesomeness. For a style I’m not in love with this beer really impressed me and was so damn refreshing after walking through to Quebec and back.
